Last October, Keri and Jay Trinca were suddenly taken from us in a horrible motor vehicle accident in Manorville, NY. The surviving members Jay Sr. and his other son and daughter are still struggling mentally, physically, and financially.
This fundraiser will be a Freestyle MC Battle.

Hofstra Hosts 14th Annual Irish Festival, March 11, 2012
Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY ... Hofstra University presents the 14th Annual Irish Festival on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Physical Education Center, located on the University’s North Campus.
The Irish Festival celebrates the Irish gifts of music, food and culture to America. There will be a number of music and dance performances throughout the day, as well as more than 50 craft vendors and authentic Irish food.
New to the 2012 entertainment lineup is Stone Row, performing Celtic and world music with a contemporary edge. Returning performers include:

Admission to the 14th Annual Irish Festival is $6 and $4 for senior citizens (65 and older). Children under 12 are free. Members of the Hofstra community also receive one free admission upon presentation of a current HofstraCard.

Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck Hosts Open House March 31
Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck is hosting an open house for prospective campers and families of children and young adults with special needs on March 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Parents should bring their children if they are to be a new camper this summer.

AMVETS serves to preserve freedom supporting veterans and active military providing community services. They need small household items and usable clothes, such as linens, shoes, draperies, curtains, housewares, glassware, and small electronics, toys, books.
